Recommend A...Trilogy

Recommend A... is a weekly meme hosted by Shanyn at Chick Loves Lit, and it showcases books we thought were fabulous but often don't think to recommend to others. This is my first time participating, but, given how much I love the idea, it certainly won't be my last.

This week's prompt is recommend a trilogy, and my recommendation is the Airhead trilogy by Meg Cabot.

Emerson Watts didn’t even want to go to the new SoHo Stark Megastore grand opening. But someone needed to look out for her sister, Frida, whose crush, British heartthrob Gabriel Luna, would be singing and signing autographs there—along with the newly appointed Face of Stark, teen supermodel sensation Nikki Howard.

How was Em to know that disaster would strike, changing her—and life as she’d known it—forever? One bizarre accident later, and Em Watts, always the tomboy, never the party princess, is no longer herself. Literally.

These books are not just the fluffy stories about supermodels you might imagine based on the covers; they are thrilling mysteries and so much more.  Not to mention they are by Meg Cabot, and you can't really go wrong with Meg Cabot. I don't just recommend this trilogy, I require you to read it. Seriously. Go read it.

  1. I LOVE MEG CABOT! Her books are always so much fun! It is one of my life goals to read all of her books.

  2. I will shamefully admit that I have yet to read anything by Meg Cabot. But, I am determined to change that as soon as I can! This trilogy sounds great and will definitely be going on my TBR list. Thanks for sharing!

  3. I loved these books when I read them! Oh my gosh! Nobody has ever mentioned them before. I adore Meg Cabot, but these books are some of my favorites of hers. Here is my Recommend A post if you are interested-

  4. Meg Cabot is another author I have yet to pick up but I am interested in reading the Abandon trilogy, it seems right up my alley. Maybe I will have to check these out next!

  5. I really do want to read these sometime. I believe I have the first one...but I can't say for sure. I just love Meg Cabot though. She's hilarious.

I would recommend the Wake, Fade, Gone books by Lisa McMann. I don't read a ton of trilogies or series in general though.

  6. Dude, I love this series. I'm not usually embarrassed by the books I read, but it just so happened that I was reading one of them (the third, maybe?)the first time my crush (now husband) asked what I was reading. I was terribly embarrassed because he was a reader, but more of the fancy literature typey stuff reader :P At least I got him in the end!

Thank you so much for leaving a comment! I love to hear your thoughts, and I read every one. You just became one of my favorite people, so I will try to visit your blog in return.
