The End is Here for Unearthly

Boundless, the final book in the Unearthly trilogy, has now been out for exactly one month, something diehard fans are celebrating and mourning. Luckily, Epic Reads and a few series newbies (that's me, as well as many other lovely bloggers) are helping us deal with the sadness of saying goodbye to this as well as our other favorite tales that are coming to a close this winter or spring. As someone who has become, both by obligation and by choice, the head cheerleader for Unearthly, I felt that I should do a wrap up post of all the festivities you may have missed.

For example, I posted my reviews of the second and third books here, but have you read my thoughts about Unearthly on the Epic Reads blog? Click here if you are in the mood for some angelic gushing.

My fellow newbie also wrote two fantastic posts for the team: a list of reasons why one should read this series-in GIFs!-and a list of her favorite moments with illustrations drawn by her niece.

Lastly, any tears we are shedding must pale in comparison to how Cynthia Hand is feeling about her trilogy ending, which is why this goodbye letter to her characters is such a lachrymose read.

If you have not yet read this series, I highly recommend giving it a try, and for those of you who have not gotten around to picking up the last book, it does not disappoint  Thank you for joining me on this bittersweet journey, and try not to be too upset. As this author questionnaire says, Hand is working on "a YA contemp with a twist." I, for one, cannot wait to see what she has in store!

  1. I swear I'll read this soon! After your reviews and seeing everyone else's, I'm in agony that I haven't read ONE book of this series.

Thank you so much for leaving a comment! I love to hear your thoughts, and I read every one. You just became one of my favorite people, so I will try to visit your blog in return.
